Workday integration for databases, warehouses and BI tools

Enterprise HR and finance source for operational reporting. Datrise captures Workday entities such as HR and finance entities, organizational structures, and operational events, then lands normalized and typed models for warehouse reporting, attribution, and AI workflows.

The Workday REST API v1 + RaaS (Reports-as-a-Service) + SOAP Web Services authenticates with OAuth 2.0, HTTP Basic, incremental runs key on Report-specific last-updated prompt parameter (e.g. an `As Of Date` / `Updated On` filter added to the RaaS report definition).

Of the 4 objects, 3 sync as upserts keyed on the primary key and 1 as append-only streams, so each incremental run moves only what changed since the last watermark. Every object lands in its own table (for example `workday_hr`) with a schema derived from the Workday API rather than a flattened CSV, in any of the 43 supported destinations.

What bites when replicating Workday

Workday has no native outbound webhooks; near-real-time delivery requires polling RaaS or wiring Business Process notification emails into a third-party listener.
RaaS reports must have `Enable as Web Service` checked and be of type Advanced Report before they are reachable at `/raas/{user}/{report_name}`, otherwise the endpoint 404s.
Six RaaS output formats exist (CSV, GData, JSON, RSS, Simple XML, Workday XML); picking JSON vs Workday XML changes the schema shape returned for the same underlying report.
Workday does not publish a numeric API rate limit for tenants; integrations should watch for HTTP `429` responses and back off using the `Retry-After` header rather than assuming a fixed ceiling.
